Questions practices ask
Can you reply to reviews without breaching patient confidentiality?
Yes. A reply never confirms the reviewer is a patient and never names a treatment, even if they did. A one or two star review always waits for a person, and asks them to contact the practice manager directly.
Will the posts get us into trouble with the GDC?
Every post is checked for the words that cause trouble: best, leading, painless, guaranteed, cheapest, number one. One that uses them is not shown to you. Nothing goes out until you approve it.
Do you need our Google password?
No. You connect through Google's own sign-in, which lets Octopusup manage the listing and nothing else. You can take that back at any time, and the listing stays yours.
We are an NHS practice. Is this for us?
Yes. The listing is where private work comes from, and one that says plainly whether your NHS list is open stops the phone being tied up with calls you cannot help.
Can we cancel?
At any time. Access runs to the end of the period already paid for, and nothing on your Google listing is taken away when you go.
